"The roof on our 110 year old house was appalling - slipped, loose and cracked slates, flashing & gullies bad too. We didn't have any leaks but it was obvious that the roof was in need of vital repairs and we got quotations for the work.

One of the companies we approached was JLR Roofing as they had re-roofed another house in our road a couple of years ago. They seemed to have done a good job and the owner had recommended them to us. Luke provided us with two competitive quotations - one to complete repairs on the roof and the second to re-roof with new flashings, gully, etc. We decided on the second option.

Everything worked smoothly from start to finish on the job. Luke kept us informed at every step of the way. The work started on the agreed date and finished on time despite some inclement weather. There was minimum disruption throughout. The team was great - hard-working, quiet and polite.

We have been very pleased with the job and we feel confident that our roof can now withstand all the weather can throw at us. It has been tested by the recent gales and heavy rain without any problems.
